  1. Birds cannot lay eggs when they do not have a mate; but snakes can easily lay eggs even without a mate


  2. Many pet birds are capable of  laying  infertile eggs ,since there is no possibility of these eggs hatching to give you young ones leaving the eggs for the bird to attempt to hatch is both a waste of time & frustrating for the female.So move these eggs out of the nest box.

  3. sometimes if they feel 'comphy'. They won't be fertile without a partner though.

  4. certain species of bird will lay eggs even if they are unfertilized.  you can look on line to find out which species.  the best thing to do is remove them from the cage or the female will fluster herself over them.

  5. They can, yes. Of course, it won't be fertile and you'll have to remove the egg from the cage.

  7. yes, they do, be sure to have a calcium block in there because laying eggs takes a lot out of the birdies...
