  1. call them and ask...

  2. No. Georgia is pretty strict and does not allow the possession or sale of native species. In other words, you can't legally own, sell, or buy a corn snake in Georgia. I'm glad I don't live in Georgia! Anyway, here's the link to the Georgia DNR:

  3. yes they should...

i bought my corn snake from petco and he is fine

  4. speaking as someone who bought a snake from petco.  don't.  your setting yourself up for trouble.  they generally don't know what they (the employees) are talking about and usually the snakes are infested with mites that are impossible to get rid of.  try these sites:

    www.cornsnakes.net

    www.cornsnakes.com

    www.cornutopia.com

    www.serpenco.com

  5. I love candycane morph cornsnakes and any variation of "butter colored" is quite striking too. Look for one that not only appeals to your personal taste. but also fits in your budget.

I do have to say however, do NOT purchase a snake from PetCo, PetSmart or any other petstore. Instead, look for a local breeder or online. A snake from a reputable breeder will most likely be healthy, and maybe you can even watch it feed. They also probably will be cheaper and can give you a complete history on  feeding, sheds and parenting for future breeding plans.
