When an animal/pet you own such as a cat is getting ready to die, do you think they look for a special place to lie down and die or do they just die where ever they happen to be lying?

  1. YES THEY USUALLY HIDE IN A DARK PLACE....

  2. yes that is true they will fine a special place to die for a dog it will be under your bed or under your porch some where close but not with you, a cat will never die at home they will run away if they have to but they will never die where you can see them, ( " if they can help it that is they will leave ") dieing is very personal to every animal and they want to die their own way and on their own terms. it dosen't mean they don't love you it is their way of spareing you the pain of seeing them go

  3. they usually stay really really close to the person or thing that they love the most, i have had three dogs that died of old age that were practically in my lap sleeping when they past.

  4. no not really they usually die where they were lying

  5. It depends.

I mean, i've had a lot of hamsters and they all seemed to pass in their favorite place:'(

But I think if your cat really likes you it probrably would be by you.

  6. It can go either way. We've had cats and dogs disappear because they went somewhere to die. But, there are lots of pets that will be right next to you when they die. Usually, the longer you've had it and the more the love between you is, the more likely they will stay near.
