Do pizza Hut delivery people get compensated for gas spent?

during the deliveries, and how much is the average wage in CA for Pizza Hut drivers?

no the company does not have to pay you back for the gas. and the wages are depending on the manager. you can take the gas off your taxes as work related along with mileage,but you need to log down the mileage and gas usage

I worked at Pizza Hut last fall. They gave me $1 per run. They didn't say what it was for. I assume it was to cover gas and maintenance. I can tell you from experience that $1 did not come near covering my gas on an average run. I worked in a rural area in Indiana so things might be different in California. I made $6 per hour.

depends on how far the delivery is and it is 50 cents per mile!!! And the average wage is 12 dollars!!!!

I think you get so  much per mile, but that hardly covers the wear and tear of your vehicle.
