Question:

Do places recycle cd cases?

I know this is a weird question, but I'm sitting here looking at my cd collection, and realizing how much space the cases take up! I'm going to transfer my cds to one holder, and I don't want to just trash the cases...so does anyone know if there are any places anywhere that take cd cases? Or are they just considered like water bottles (plastic) and you can take them anywhere?

  1. STOP! Do not put them in your recycle stuff.

They are a different plastic, are not recycled (by most places) and could 'contaminate' usable plastics.

If you cannot find another use for them (like inserting a pic and adding a magnet to make photoframes) take them to an opshop or offer to someone who buys multi discs in a box.

Someone must need them as shops sell just cases???

  2. yes you can recycle them anywhere- they're plastic, so you can take them wherever you take your water bottles and stuff
