Do plant seeds expire?

Question

I have a bag of Bonsai Seeds that I got about two years ago but just found now (lol). I am wondering if they will be dead or expired or whatever or will they still grow if I germinate/plant them?? Thanks

I got a kit for a bonsai about 4 years ago and only just planted it. The directions made no sense at the time lol. I haven't gotten any results yet but it could be the time of year (lack of direct sunlight and window heat) so depending on when you plant them could factor in later. Idk give it a try :)
