  1. No. They breath in Oxygen and give out CO2

  2. Yeah... y not??? dey breathe carbon in da form of CO2 at day tm. Dats wat dey keep doin all day...

  3. No . They fix carbon in to sugar after taking in CO2 gas .

  4. no.

    plants fixate carbon they absorb from the air in a process called photosynthesis.

    they breath oxygen.

    but that is true - they do get their carbon from the air (CO2).

  5. There is a process called the "Krebs cycle" in which plants absorb carbon dioxide and give off Oxygen as a byproduct.

  6. No.

    They use it to produce glucose.

    6xCO2+12xH2O+sunlight==>1xC6H12O6+6xO2...

    The glucose (C6H12O6) is the source of energy for vegetarians. The O2 is what oxygen-dependant organisms use to breath (including the plats themselves). The H2O is what makes plants a good source of water.

    As you can see, sunlight is needed so they can only do this process (properly known as Photysynthesis) during the day. Most of the plants breathing are conducted during nighttime but they breath once in a while in the day even if they're busy making starch (a complex form of glucose).
