  1. plants require light energy to photosynthesize, plants do not produce heat. they produce hydrocarbons and oxygen.


  2. no plants don't need heat to photosynthesize but if it gets to cold or hot they can not photosynthesize because it damages there proteins.

    a basic formula for photosynthesis is.

    carbon dioxide + water + light energy -----> glucose (a simple sugar) + oxygen

    so oxygen and glucose  are the end products.
