  1. they sense their environment and respond to  daily and seasonal changes.  they send messages to other trees of their species when infested with a pest.  do they feel sad when they do not prosper, or think about their neighbors?  animalistic emotions do not apply to the plant world, but  they are responsive life forms


  2. Ya I believe they have feelings as well as thoughts. They also have the power of movement.

  3. Those two items require intelligence.....plants don't have intelligence.
