  1. Yes.

    Carotenoids are red, yellow, or orange.  They also work for photosynthesis (but they do pass their energy on to chlorophyll).

    Phycobilins are another class that are found in a different part of the plant than chlorophyll.  They are more common in algae.

    Also, there are other pigments that are not involved in photosynthesis at all.  For example, the colors of many flowers are caused by non-chlorophyll pigments, but they also don't work for photosynthesis (usually).
