  5. Answer #3 is correct.............mammals that live in or out of water. However, one additional point.

      They are also the only mammal with "venom" capability to defend themselves and by design, mating?????? Sounds like the Black Widow or Preying Mantis scenario.

       Envenomation is extremely rare, although there was a program on a few years ago, where they covered a man having been "hit" in the thumb by this "spike", located on the mammals hind leg.

       He lived, but his hand was totally deformed and he was on life support for a few hours.

       Wouldn't want to meet one personally.
