Do playing musical instruments earn you UCAS points?

Good grief. My 12 year old apparently has the equivalent of an E at A level - and she's not even a particularly good pianist. And they say these things aren't being dumbed down.

So yes. But be aware that every musician at every decent school in the country will be getting those points. They're not likely to give you an edge - they're simply awarded at too low a level.
