  1. I don't even pay attention to stickers. Everyone has some kind of BS police/firefighter/420/military support sticker. They mean exactly nothing.

  2.      I don't know about California specifically, but that bias is always apparent when it comes to Emergency Services.i have gotten out of half a dozen minor ticket due to being in the Industry, not right, but the reality of it.I have a friend who is a Fire Fighter in a city near by and he get out of tickets all the time for his sticker, but on the flip side of that, another city nearby will actually give you a harder time for being a Firefighter because they have constant conflict with each other;that same city will actually have cops conveniently posted outside of the annual Fire Christmas party in the hopes of giving out a few impaired charges, which has happened.

  3. Yes they can get a ticket, however some police officer, deputies, state troopers when they pull them over they give the driver a break for being a firefighter. However if they are pulled over by the right police officer no sticker is going to get them out of a ticket.

  4. Those stickers are easy to come by, and carry little weight.

I'm sure most officers have more discretion when stopping a firefighter, but it is going to take more than a sticker to convince them.

  5. YES we give tickets to them and any other stickers. They are a dime a dozen and most of the time the driver is NOT a fireman or LEO.
