I'm a corrections officer and will be paid time and a half tonight. My wife is a nurse and will be too. Most emergency workers get some time of exta pay for working major holidays.

They should. Since it's a federal holiday most places that need people to work that day have to pay them overtime. Also, it's more stressful on July 4th with the fireworks and some people who want to shoot guns in the air (the bullets do come back down!)

If they don't, it's a crime.

Sounds like Brianna and/or her family already had run-ins with the law. That's why we need police, because of people like that.
