I seen this on Fox news yesterday. They were talking about European views on the America's war on terrorism. They said that many countries are afraid to join because of the cost and effects it has on America.

  1. If I were a leader of a country in Europe, I'd stay as far away from the middle east as possible. They are too close in proximity to the middle east and are easy targets for terrorist attacks.

Besides this is Bush's war and Bush's mistake. The danger was never intended for Europe until we invaded Iraq. Bush has made our planet a very dangerous place to live, as he allowed Al Queda to become organized and stronger than before 9/11 by not not focusing on Afghanistan and going into Iraq for their oil. He has the blood of 4000+ American troops on his hands and tens of thousand of innocent Iraq's as well. Any attacks that come now, and they will come, is of Bush's own doing.

  2. You need to read other sources besides Fox news. Most of the people in Europe were against the invasion of Iraq. There was no evidence of Iraqi involvement in terrorism or weapons of mass destruction. Many news sources reported this, but were called unpatriotic by the administration and the Republicans. Fox news reported the party line and still mislead their viewers about the war.

Try Knight-Ridder news service, and MSNBC. Search the internet for independent journalists, this war has already cost nearly a trillion dollars, more than 4000 american soldiers dead, and 30,000 wounded. The cost is expected to reach 2 trillion within 3 more years. The death toll in Iraqi citizens has passed 650,000. 4.5 million of them have fled the country. There  used to be a million Christians, now there are less than 10,000. Only the very old, very poor, and disabled are left. And they are being murdered by the radicals.

The people around the world are horrified by what we have done, even many in our own military believe we only did it to control their oil.

When we went into Afghanistan the whole world was on our side. No one but England wanted to go into Iraq.

Now American and British oil companies are dividing the oil fields and the Government of Iraq is corrupt. Bombings go on daily, people are murdered randomly, most of the cities are divided by concrete walls with armed guards at the entrances.

  3. What a politician personally believes and what he says in the media for the consumption of the voters in his district is two different things.  Which politician are you speaking of?  There are many in each individual country.

How do Americans or American politicians think?  Everyone is different, that is democracy.  Out of this confusing mish mash, we must arive at some kind of consensus, to form a policy.

  4. generally, yes.

  5. Dont even waste your time watching Fox or CNN they all c**p. Every media source is biased and controlled by goverment and certain types of people. dare i say who.

  6. Yes, I think they do.

And the British courts just ruled in favor of Sharia Law courts.  From what I've observed, most Britains actually believe that it will cause no more problems that the Jewish law courts in some communities.  LOL

Global Islamic terror is still alive and well in the world.  I hope no American soldier ever dies in defense of any European ever again.
