how do poo stains/marks appear on underwear after pooing? do they always appear after you had a poo?

They appear if you don't wipe your butt properly.  They're usually called "skid marks."

If this is a regular problem and just using loo paper doesn't help, at home you could wash the area. If away from home try using wet wipes - the flushable type. Keep a couple in a small plastic bag (keeps moisture in) in your bag or pocket so you are able to keep yourself clean and fresh

Why do think we wear knickers? "Skid marks" can also be caused by farting too strongly!
