Do pre-workout igniters such as N.O.-XPLODE and Anabolic HALO make your muscles more bulky?

I swim competitively and when I lift i try to gain leaner muscle. I dont take any kind of supplement because of my fear that it will make me bulky and slow me down. will these products have this effect? are there any supplements I can use that will not have this effect? thank you

  1. Actually both will make you bulky because they're both meant for those who need an excessive boost in their workouts as a part of bodybuilding routines. In fact, most of these supplements serve this same purpose.

    I highly discourage using these (or any other) supplements, not just because they will make you're muscles bulkier, and slow you down in the water, but also because many (if not all) of these are classified as: performance-enhancing substances. I don't know much about competitive swimming, but if performance-enhancing substances are banned in other sports, swimming is probably no exception.

    If you want to gain stronger, and more defined muscles, then you should find a coach/trainer to guide you in your workouts to help you make the most out of your workouts. It definitely takes more than just lifting dumbbells and barbells to gain leaner muscles - and by the way, swimming will help too.
