Do predictions of the end of the world come from those who have found no joy in life and want things to end?

Question

People say they are Christian, and yet many are so unhappy they want the world to come to an end. What happened to the Sermon on the Mount? That was about living life more abundantly and with greater joy and happiness.

Are these predictions of the end of the world coming from those who fell into false teachings that bring misery... and they are looking for a way out?

By false teachings I mean a focus on the suffering of Christ, rather than the things Jesus actually taught. More on my biography.

You are really confused, I want to go to the next plane of existance but not because I am unhappy on the planet of the apes but because I want to be with God and Jesus forever.

M't:16:24: Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

Jas:4:4: Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

1Jo:2:15: Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

1Jo:2:16: For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

I do have inner peace and joy:

Joh:14:27: Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

But I would rather:

Heb:11:25: Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season;

It's just a mistranslation of the Bible.  It refers not the end of the world but to the end of the age of Pisces which is due in 2150 when the age of Aquarius begins.

i follow the perdictions the lord has given us in the bible - i am filled with joy knowing the messiah is coming soon -those who do not know the word of god and who feel as u r speaking of r not true christians - pray for them to know the truth

I am Sorry for the apparent unhappiness and discontent of a lot of Christians these days! It is because in large they do not understand the Grace that God gives us. Although the end times are near! You can find and follow the things that are happening right now in the Bible. (Russia and there recent activities.)

I must confess I am not always as happy as I should be, but every time I think of Jesus and the Grace he has given to me, I get happy and I do look forward to seeing him when this is all over with!
