Do pregnant dogs do weird things?

my cairn terrier is pregnant and all she does is stand at the air vent in the floor all day long. is this normal?

Standing on the air vent? It depends, does she have her stomach on the vent?

It may not feel too good, if the puppies are pressing around in there, then yeah she may want to lye on the air vent.

It sounds like she's hot and figured out how to cool off.  It sounds like she's pretty smart to me.

yes they can do weird things but i think your dog is just showing you how intelligent she is she is getting hot and has found a way to stay cool, they do seem to get hotter when they are pregnant, as long as she is not doing any harm to herself then let her carry on with this way of cooling down so much better than getting stressed at being too hot
