  1. It depends on where you work, just like any other job.

  2. it depends where.... I work at a jewish school and i'm not jewish. but its the first preschool where i recieved insurance and pay while we were off. and i make 12 an hour an assistant.

  3. It depends on where you are, but from my experience there are usually benefits, including medical, dental, childcare discount, etc.  Teachers assistants are usually eligible, but may be required to pay more.  A lot of times benefits are reserved for full time employees as well.  As a teacher depending on the area you can make from $9-$14.  Of course this is just an average, it could be more or less depending on the area.  Teachers assisants gererally are from $7-$10.  Hope this helps.

  4. It depends on where you work for both pay and benefits. I used to work within a college and i received benfits plus 20 dollars an hour. However, since that job ended (it was contract and I got laid off), I am now making 12 an hour with no benefits.

It all depends on where you work!! =)

  5. Preschools usually don't have benefits unless they are part of a big chain of preschools.

Teacher's assistant benefits vary by the school district (I know some that have benefits and others who don't).

The pay rate varies, again by school but preschool teachers make around ten dollars an hour while assistants in schools can make around 10-12 starting off
