  1. My school (private Roman Catholic) has prom, homecoming, dances, mixers, pep rallies, parties, and plenty of football games (this is America, after all). All of the private schools in my area that I am familiar with also have all of the above (a couple more Catholic schools and a Lutheran school). But I am not familiar with the practices of schools of other denominations. Are you looking at attending a private school, or just curious?

  2. yes

  3. Yes,  but often if it is a Christian school, depending on the denomination, you may not be able to dance.

I went to a private school and we called them "banquets" or "formals".  You dressed up and got your hair done, had a date, ate good food, and took pictures, but there was no dancing.

  4. yup!  I go to an all girls catholic school and we have sophomore semi, junior prom, senior prom, dances, pepp rallies, we go to our brother school's football games and huge parties. way bigger than public school.  because we're friends with kids from all over and all the private schools in my area have dances together so we all become friends hence huge parties :)

  5. Yes, i go to a private school and we have homecoming, homecoming dances, junior prom, senior prom, pep rallys, tailgates, and football games.

  6. I went to a Christian private school and we did NOT dance but there was football games, pep rallies and homecoming. Then there was the senior banquet. That was all school sanctioned BUT there were parent sponsored dances held away from the school so we wouldn't be too abnormal.
