Do pro fighters put vaseline on their face when sparring?

Do they put vaseline on when sparring without a helmet?

In good gyms, with quality trainers, vaseline is used on the face, gloves, and headgear.  

It is used on the gloves and headgear to prevent any rough edges doing unneccessary damage, like causing abrasians or cuts which could be detrimental in a fight.

Pretty much everyone spars with headgear and vaseline - amateurs and pros. Headgear is used to protect the upper brow from cutting.. it does not stop the percussion of the blow. It would be really, really silly of a boxer to not wear headgear when sparring and risk a cut. Same with the vaseline.. its put on so punches 'slide' off the face more to stop cutting. As with the headgear, would be pretty silly not to use it in sparring.
