Do pro rugby players wear shoulder padding?

How many pros ( a percent or something ) wear shoulder vests or something of the like?

almost no body except maybe less then 5% of forwards a few wimpy backs.. they dont care about protection.. it's all about lookin' baller

Not alot of players wear padding, you would find that players who have past injuries around the shoulder areas might have padding put inside there jersey.  It doesn't really matter where you are from this is a safety caution, you wouldn't care what you wear labelled if you played professionally and had padding in your jersey because I beat the people critising wouldn't even be able to cut it if they wore American Grideon Gears.

Not in NZ i cant recall any players that are that much of poofters that they need padding. A few south africans and like a previous comment said the northern hemisphere teams,but thats because they are a bit on the soft side!

No. Only women wear shoulder padding.

Well for instance in the six nations currently running, all the teams now wear tight rugby tops with inbuilt padding, not much but there is something unlike the old style.
