  1. I think EMFs are a really big health problem, so when I heard about Qlinks and so forth I thought "that's really cool."

However, when I looked at how they actually worked, (from my physics background) I was somewhat doubtful they'd actually do anything, and all I really had to vouch for them were a few people who had bought the things and said they noticed they "could feel an amazing difference."

At some point I bought an EMF meter (also measures microwave radiation and a few other fields).  I experimented with putting a few different ones around the meter (which was by a strong emf source), and noticed that regardless of their position they had no effect on the fields registered by the meter.  The only place I found anything interesting was when I tried using a cell phone, where the device "appeared" to reduce the microwave radiation by about 5% (which still is basically nothing).

There are a few products purported to do this which I have not yet tried, but I'm rather skeptical that they work.  I really wish I could find one that did though!

As a result your best bet is just to avoid areas with high fields in the first place.

There have been some excellent books written on this subject.

The best once from a scientific perspective is called cross currents (which found amongst other things that when bacteria are exposed to EMF fields they start releasing exotoxins).

Also, if you want to look into willhelm reich's work, he found that EMF's were tremendously harmful in the scientific framework he constructed.

I'm sensitive enough to be able to feel stronger fields though, so I just avoid them because my body doesn't like being there.  Actually scholarly proof is more important on topics like this though, so I'd advise reading cross currents.

  2. The ones I've seen are very expensive and

there's no way to know how good it is without testing every environment you're in.

    You can protect yourself...a lot.

1)Never keep an electric clock/radio within

3 ft. of your head at night.

    2)  Always sit at least 6' away from a TV.

    3)  Do not stand in front of you microwave

and watch the table turn.  Allow 3' also.

    4)  Older computer monitors give off a

lot of EMF.  Degauss regularly if you know how.

    5)  Don't live under highlines.

    6)  Cellphone use is very questionable.

    7)  Headphones on telemarketers are the same.

      Do some study, there's more.

  3. a lot of the "harmful EMF" claims are just plain old hysteria. for a less fear based analysis of the claims made by the "Harmful EMF" people check out the links in the sources below

  4. I would use Australian Bush Flower Essences Mulla-Mulla taken internally, sprayed on (Solaris drops put in a sprayer works well)  can be sprayed on a cell phone for instance and keeps the EMF down for a couple of weeks.

Warning, do not take if you need an X-ray though at is does affect the quality of the x-ray, good to take after though (also after radiation of any kind, including sunburns and such, speeds healing)
