Question:

Do psychics ever help "beginning psychics"?

I mean...when people first become aware that they have an ability ...who should they go to? This happened to me..and the only psychic around didn't try to ..or offer to..teach me anything. So I was out there "floundering around" and making all kinds of mistakes. Sure cost me a lot of my life! Why don't they help others more with this and guide them..free of charge? If you're a psychic...do you help others? Would you let them come to your house and try to give them guidance..and hang with them till they can "fly on their own"?

  1. Most people often were taught by family members who had the "gift" if your abilities presented very strongly (at least that's the way it is depicted on television).

Other times you might learn from your mother or other relative that a great grand parent or somebody from your family's past was a healer or could "see" things. Usually makes for a spooky story - if you investigate your family tree you might be surprised who had the gift.

  2. would u teach what u do for a living to someone else? i won't, or i would have to get a new job

  3. Deenie:  Beginners probably have a major problem in this area.  The whole New Age spectrum is loaded with gurus and guru-wannabes.  I can't imagine how a newcomer would separate the wheat from the chaff.

A couple of decades ago I used to teach some in particular areas I was involved in.  But I ceased doing it and I'll never do it again [though I still give the occasional Reiki attunement]

My reasons involved uses the people I'd taught put to what I'd taught them.  I felt enough responsibility for it to decide someone else will have to do the teaching if it's going to get done.

  4. hi,

  5. I took classes from a woman for a couple of years who was doing just that. I didn't consider myself to be psychic, but she tried to teach us how to use abilities we hadn't yet developed, and to have confidence in those abilities. She charged (charges) a lot of money for those classes, as well as reiki attunements, a unique meditation technique, readings, and healing sessions.

She turned out to be quite the Guru, gathering a following of favorites that were hand-picked to pay even more money to be even more special.

I learned a lot from her that was good, but she really got on my nerves. She was one of those who was convinced that this was her last lifetime and that she was only here to teach others.

Back to your question... I've never heard of anyone who helped someone along for free unless it was a best friend or a family member. I think that's wise on the teacher's part.
