Do public companies such as Exxon Mobil provide balance statements etc with detailed information?

When I say "detailed information", do statements that detail Assets such as Land also provide more specific information like address i.e. 123 manhattan rd, nyc, ny, and so on? I

tried looking through SEC filings for Exxon Mobil and only found annual reports/quarterlies that did not provide specific information. I am not sure whether or not I am looking in the right places (company website, sec) or if I am wrong about companies providing such detailed info (even to investors).

Thank you in advance for taking the time to read and answer this question.

  1. Exxon Mobil has so many assets (and they are changing all the time) that it would be impractical to list them all specifically each time they publish their financial statements. By the time someone finished preparing such a listing, it would probably already be out-of date and inaccurate.
