  1. Well as always, every play is different, and requires different actors. I'm sure Romeo and Juliet have to be able to sing, but there should be a role in the play that doesn't require singing experience.  Hope i could help.

  2. depends on what ur part is. But probably

  3. I don't believe there's any way to incorporate singing into the original text of Romeo and Juliet, but if you're doing another Shakespeare show the jester or one of the servants may have to sing, it depends on the play and the director.

They'll tell you if you're gonna need to sing.

  4. if it's a musical then you'll nearly always have to sing, but for plays (non-musicals) you won't have to sing. btw for most public musicals in open auditions you'll nearly always have to dance, too

    :)

  5. If your auditioning for a musical..then I believe so.

You don't have to if it's just a play.

  6. Not to be harsh, but are you retarded. Honestly, have you ever heard of a Shakespeare musical. go to class .

  7. It depends on the kind of Audition.

  8. Whether a school is public or private, a play is a play and a musical is a musical.  The play Romeo and Juliet is not a musical, so you wouldn't have to sing in it.  Even in musicals, though, if you just have confidance in yourself, you don't need a good voice to get by, especially if you just have a minor part.  Even some major parts don't always require you to sing.  For example, in the musical Grease, Frenchy is a big part but never has to sing.  Hope this helps!

  9. it would depend on who the director is. if its a musical, you wouldnt get a major part if you couldnt sing. you would probably be required to sing in a large group, however if you were cast in a minor role.

  10. For Romeo and Juliet, there are no singing parts because it's not a musical.

Anything called a musical will call for basic singing skills, unless you want a major part, and then you have to be a good solo singer.

But for Romeo and Juiliet, don't worry about it.  Just act.

  11. It depends on whether it is a play or a musical. In a musical, you will probably have to be able to sing (unless you are a minor character with no solos. Then, even if you have a bad voice, you might be able to get by). For plays, you probably won't have to be able to sing.

  12. if its a musical then you might have to sing. why dont you just ask the people who are putting the show on?????
