do public schools in US or canada accept students from other countries ? like give them student visa and dorm and every thing ?

  1. Yes, of course. However, foreign students pay much higher tuition fees and cannot receive government aid. In most cases (99.9%) a public university won't offer any financial aid at all.

    Other than that, you're all set. Admission is relatively easy (well, except in University of California) and you will get F-1 visa if you show proof of sufficient income to sustain yourself in the United States.


  2. Yes, you can do a foreign exchange program with lots of public high schools in the U.S. and Canada. In most of them you live with a host family, unless you go to a private boarding school, which is usually more expensive. Most study-abroad programs help you with your student visa.
