  1. depends, if they are potentiality good/great qbs they will almost never ie Young, Russel, Leinatr, Ryan .

If they are potentially a bust or just an average qb but a good athlete they will find a position for them most the time is WR. ie Eric crouch, Isaiah stanback, antwan randle el.

its usually the potential they have that determines if they should really be a QB. Sometimes they dont have any potential to be another positions so they become horrible to average QB ie joey harrington, Josh McCown, Michael Vick.

  2. I know Reggie McNeil from Texas A&M played QB, but when he was drafted by the Bangles they switched him to WR.

  3. There's is more of a chance seeing the dolphins winning than that happening.

  4. lol no never. I don't think there has ever been an instance where a college QB was drafted to the pros that put at running back haha. So to answer your question simply... No, they never do.

  5. Not that often. Only a handful have done it. Some like Eric Crouch instead retire instead of play another position. Then there is Antwan Randal El, Brad Smith and the likes who switch from QB and stay in the league. More times then not either they play QB or they dont play at all

  6. Antwan Randell Ell use to be starting QB for Indiana.

  7. Some do.  It depends on the type of system they run in college.

Notable players that swtiched from QB to WR/RB:

    Antwaan Randel El

    Matt Jones

    Brad Smith

    Marcus Vick (free agent LOL)

    Michael Robinson

    etc etc

These players are either too small or not polished enough to read NFL coverages.  They still run trick passing plays.

  8. Michael Robinson was a QB at Penn State who actually got some votes for the Heisman, but after being drafted by the 49ers was put on the depth chart as a RB.

  9. not often but it does happen occasionally, Patrick Crayton of the cowboys is the #2 reciever and he was a QB in college.
