Question:

Do quiet and reserved people hate not saying what they are thinking?

For 18 years, I have always been a very outspoken, outgoing person. One day in fourth grade, I was on the playground. I asked the recess supervisor if she thought I was too talkative and too outgoing. She responded by hugging me and saying, "Be the person that God made you." I just try to figure that God made me loud and outspoken, not that there was anything wrong with it. However, oftentimes it does seem to get me into trouble and I wish I were more quiet and reserved. But then when I try to be this way, I always hate not being able to say what I'm thinking or what I want to say and I almost have to remain aloof from any situation.

  1.  I am "quiet & reserved". IYet I see it as "I'm diplomatic".  This is how i discern when to hold back & when to speak out:

If it breaks a situation down, SHUSH. If it will aid a situation, SPEAK UP. I choose my words very wisely.
