Question:

Do "mint condition" regular Beanie Babies and McDonald’s Teeny Beanie babies have any value anymore? ON EBAY?

My mother recently sent me my entire collection of Beanie Babies, so that maybe I could sell the Beanie Babies on EBay? I am not a child, nor have I ever had children, so the Beanie Babies are in mint condition. They have never been played with-still have their tags-and look brand new. They have been in plastic cases or plastic bags for the past 9 years or so. I became good friends with an older, married man who I worked with (at the time). This man started giving me the small toys, because he liked to see my eyes light up. Being the obsessive type person that I am, I started spending my own money (back when I had money) to try to keep my collection up to date. Back then-I paid $7-$10 for each regular Beanie Baby. During the McDonald’s summer promotion, my mother, and I, and my friend used to buy McDonald’s food-give the food to homeless people-or have to throw the food away-all to acquire (for me) hundreds of the Teeny Beanie Babies.

  1. I used to collect Beanie Babies too & I suppose I just keep them till forever because to me, toys are precious, they keep us company when we are lonely & cheer us when we are sad. I'm glad I opposed to some people's suggestions to give up my Beanie Babies & other toys of yesteryears. They have lots of sentimental values to me, something no money can buy.

  2. Does anyone still collect those things? If so, I have a bunch!

  3. the more rare ones would be worth something.

the others, most likely not. I'd hang on to them a bit longer.
