  1. Most top level tracks don't.  However, I know that Watkins Glen and the original Nurburgring allow people to drive their own cars there for a fee.  Also, there are several "driving experiences" around the world that let you drive various cars on top level tracks for a fee.

  2. Some of them do. Check you local.

  3. for a fee almost any track will let you drive, you may be paying a few hundred for a few laps, and you might be required to spend a few thousand making your car race ready i.e. fia approved racing seats removing head lights and who knows what else

  4. Talladega does for sure.

  5. Some do.

However, you cant really " race " as its not a race.

You can go for a race school holiday. These will set you back a few quid, but are great fun. My brother has done two now.

Both at Brand Hatch using Honda Civic's. Great fun.

If you do a trackday, with your own car, dont forget, you have no insurance, so if you crash, you pay for it out of your pocket.

And it goes without saying, dont run into the back of a Porcshe / Ferrari etc !!
