Do railway companies have their own police?

Let's say there are people who are doing things they shouldn't be doing. Do any railway companies have their own security personnel to handle the situation?

Well, I know Amtrak does. I don't know about other railway companies, but I'm sure they have some way of dealing with people who are doing things they shouldn't be doing.

Yes they do and they have Federal authority under the FRA.. They have be know to use dogs to lead them to people houses that done thing to RR property.

Yes, most larger railroads have thier own security forces. Including canine corps.

Smaller railroads contract for rent-a-cops muhc like other businesses to patrol their property
