yes all the time i mean i dont mind too much with my family but with strangers i get really upset. if i were you i would just grab there belly back and ask them if they like being touched by a complete stranger.

I haven't had this happen to me, but I know it happens. I wouldn't want to be the stranger that did that to me.

I'm not pregnant and never have been, but wow, that is really creepy!  I would never go up to a stranger and rub her pregnant belly.  I always asked my family members if I could touch their stomachs when they were pregnant.  I would hate it if people just started touching my tummy because I was pregnant.

Yes and i hate it.  Finally discovered that crossing my arms or maintaing eye contact stops them.  If they ask about my pregnancy and i look at my belly or rub it they feel like its an invite for them and do it too.  I hate it so so much.  

I like my personal space mind and not even a fan of family touching.  I let them touch when they see me cos i know they want too but when they constantly rub it I say, "im not a dog, i dont need to be patted, you have felt her, she says hi, please leave her alone now"  Maybe its a bit harsh but just how i feel hehe

I'm not pregnant, but I feel the need to respond. I HATE when I see people go up and touch some poor girl's baby bump! She is not wearing a sign that says "touch my belly" !

If I was pregnant, I would slap anyone who did that to me!

I havent had this issue, if someone comes up and just rubs my belly I would smack them. If I know them its fine, but a complete stranger I would be pissed off

But I hate it. I mean it's my belly. I do NOT know the people. and yet just because  im pregnant im a rub zone :(

No, I haven't had that happen to me yet and I am 33 weeks 6 days pregnant. Although people like my soon to be mother-in-law,cousin,friend,fiancee etc., etc., do but that doesn't really bother me. I'm glad I haven't had any strangers do it yet because it would really tick me off. They have no right touching me especially my belly! I always have people make remarks on how big I am and how it looks like i'm having twins and that annoys me but I just get on my way and ignore them.

I had that for the first time today, it's a bit weird! I didn't mind too much today, but I can see how it would get irritating on a regular basis.

I've had a few complete strangers asking me "was it planned" which I thought was a bit much, when they have no idea who I even am! This baby is planned and very much wanted,  but if it wasn't why on earth would I tell a complete stranger?

Yes they did when I was pregnant and it drove me absolutely nuts! That is just so rude of them. If I don't know you, please don't touch me!

Out of all three of my pregnancies, I only had that happen to me maybe a hand full of times.  Luckily, I just so happened to be in a good mood on those days.  It was usually an elderly woman, so it didn't bother me too much.  They were always harmless.

No i wouldnt alow that just a total stranger would be very wierd.. But my moms friend constantly likes to put her head on my stomach which i find very very very anoying. I dont mind the petting and touching but that i CANTTTTTT stand.

I am pregnant with my second child at the moment & old ladies love to come and rub my belly. I also go to church & everyone wants to rub my belly!

I guess its one of the many "joys" if you will, of pregnancy.

No but every one who knows me does and I don't want anyone touching me without asking, so its as uncomfortable as if a stranger was doing it. It drives me crazy when they sit next to me and keep their hand there til the baby moves, which he never does if somebody wants him too. This is my body too, you can touch the baby when he comes out! But, only if you wash your hands first!!

And when they do, and ask a question like "is it kicking?"

I respond with

"is what kicking?"

"..."

"YOU THINK I'M PREGNANT!?"

Haha. And then they feel really embarassed and awkward, and will most likely think twice before putting their hands on a random stranger.

Yeah, they do. I never really mind it though. It's not like their rude about it or anything, and they are very nice and sweet. It makes me feel special.

I had people do that to me all the time when I was pregnant. It kinda bothered me at first when I started showing, but by the end of my pregnancy, I got kinda used to it. Some people love babies and just cannot resist. :)
