  1. Yes, chemical reactions do. Nuclear reactions follow the law of conservation of energy which works hand in hand with the law of conservation of mass.

  4. Up to a point.  The Law of the Conservation of Energy is accepted as more accurate.  E=mc^2 threw a wrench into the Law of Conservation of Mass.
