Do recent elections indicate that the Blair/Brown "New Labour Party" is becoming extinct? Voting against Blair/Brown has been phenomenal.Nothing is forever and political parties are no exception. How will future British politics be re-configured?The Conservatives emerged out of the old Tory Party (the original moderates) whilst the Liberals (originally the right-wing party) emerged out of the old Whig Party and have since amalgamated with the Social Democrats. "New" Labour itself was born only 10 years ago as a right-wing hijacking of the real Labour Party and already seems like a spent force.
