Do red heads look good in yellow?

Question

im a red head.(darker aburn color not the orange red) and im thinking a yellow-gold color for my homecomming dress.

and yes i kno that homecomming is a long ways away but if i get it now i can get it on sale and save $$$.

i think it really depends on your skin tone and what the underlying color is...its hard to tell really. i think it would look alright though...just make sure you still have some tan left! =)

emerald green. red heads look stunning in emerald green. my best friend is a red head and she looks beautiful in silk emerald green.

Hi...  If you don't mind me saying so...  No yellow on a redhead is not a thing to do...   Yellow is a washed out color / hue. As indicated, green and variouds shades of is / are  the perfect color (s) for redheads, and you can't go too, too far wrong with the good old "basic black"..  Yellow will do nothing for your skin tone nor your hair color..

May I say from within the respondents, the person who said redheads are real creepy I would just ignore that remark and take it from the source from which it came..

Being a redheaded crossdresser by choice myself, we are pretty limited as to wardrobe choices, make up (eye shadows, etc) due to not wanting articles to "clash" with our hair color. We can still get away with white blouses, sweaters, tops etc, and of course the black skirts, dressers, slacks, etc.

But for special occasions, gowns etc we have to make the perfect choice to impress...

Usually ive seen red heads with emerald green and they look good!

Get an emerald green one! You'll look good! =)

Emerald Green or Royal blue,

If your eyes are either of these colours match it to your eyes!

(don't go brown if you have brown eyes though)

I would go with a yellow dress if you want though, just make sure it doesn't clash with your hair and you'll look great!

Of course!

After I got my hair dyed red, I was worried about colors I'd be able to wear that would look okay.  But, it's not really like that, as long as your hair looks great and so does your dress, you'll look amazing. :]

I think redheads look really good in jewel tones (sapphire, emerald, turquoise). But if you really like your gown, go for it!
