Do reigning royal families ever socially recognize deposed royal families and legitimate claimants to thrones?

Do many of the reigning royal families (Such as those of Britain, Belgium, Luxembourg, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Spain, etc.) recognize at least socially former deposed royal families (Like the House of Orleans) and present legitimate claimants to now deposed thrones?

Do they consider them at least socially equal if they believe in royal blood? Do some reigning monarchs and royal families even possibly secretly believe deposed royal families should rightfully be monarchs?

  1. The reigning European royal families are all related in some way or another. As a great great granddaughter of Queen Victoria, Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom is related to the heads of most other reigning and non-reigning European royal houses.

Back in the days, monarchs would only marry off their royal offspring to other monarchs to form alliances and treaties between two nations. As a result, every royal member from different royal houses across Europe are all distant relative through birth or marriage.

Since royal families only associate within the "inner aristocrat circle" and the very "elite and privilege class" these groups of people would only include other royal families (both reigning and non-reigning) and billionaires. A non-reigning monarch or heir to a pretender throne is still an “aristocrat” and still consider a royal member according to royalists.

  2. well most of these Royal families live in  Britain, the usa(King of eygpt) Greek Royals live in Britain, Romanian Royals live in switzerland, ect, ect.

They are all well educated and most of them are business people.

they go to each others weddings ie Yugoslavia's king Peter's daughter,Monaco's were there, well I could go on and on but don't want to bore you.

  3. No because most monarchs are constitutional monarchs and they have to remain on good diplomatic terms with the powers in office at the time. They do however socialize in non formal settings.

  4. The English Royal family are on good terms with the king of the Greeks who was deposed years ago and now lives in exile in London.

  5. Well i imagine they would consider them to be socially equal as their is a very good chance that they are blood related!

For example a relative of the ex greek monarchy is the current Queen consort for Spain.
