"If Saddam rejects peace and we have to use force, our purpose is clear. We want to seriously diminish the threat posed by Iraq's weapons of mass destruction program." - President Bill Clinton, February 17, 1998

"He will use those weapons of mass destruction again, as he has ten times since 1983." - Sandy Berger, Clinton National Security Adviser, February 18, 1998

"[W]e urge you, after consulting with Congress, and consistent with the U.S. Constitution and laws, to take necessary actions (including, if appropriate, air and missile strikes on suspect Iraqi sites) to respond effectively to the threat posed by Iraq's refusal to end its weapons of mass destruction programs." Letter to President Clinton. - (D) Senators Carl Levin, Tom Daschle, John Kerry, others, October 9, 1998

"Saddam Hussein has been engaged in the development of weapons of mass destruction technology which is a threat to countries in the region and he has made a mockery of the weapons inspection process." - Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D, CA), December 16, 1998

"Hussein has ... chosen to spend his money on building weapons of mass destruction and palaces for his cronies." - Madeline Albright, Clinton's Secretary of State, November 10, 1999

"We begin with the common belief that Saddam Hussein is a tyrant and a threat to the peace and stability of the region. He has ignored the mandate of the United Nations and is building weapons of mass destruction and the means of delivering them." - Sen. Carl Levin (D, MI), September 19, 2002

"We know that he has stored secret supplies of biological and chemical weapons throughout his country." - Al Gore, September 23, 2002

"We have known for many years that Saddam Hussein is seeking and developing weapons of mass destruction." - Sen. Ted Kennedy (D, MA), September 27, 2002

"The last UN weapons inspectors left Iraq in October of 1998. We are confident that Saddam Hussein retains some stockpiles of chemical and biological weapons, and that he has since embarked on a crash course to build up his chemical and biological warfare capabilities. Intelligence reports indicate that he is seeking nuclear weapons..." - Sen. Robert Byrd (D, WV), October 3, 2002

"I will be voting to give the President of the United States the authority to use force -- if necessary -- to disarm Saddam Hussein because I believe that a deadly arsenal of weapons of mass destruction in his hands is a real and grave threat to our security." - Sen. John F. Kerry (D, MA), October 9, 2002

"There is unmistakable evidence that Saddam Hussein is working aggressively to develop nuclear weapons and will likely have nuclear weapons within the next five years ... We also should remember we have always underestimated the progress Saddam has made in development of weapons of mass destruction." - Sen. Jay Rockefeller (D, WV), October 10, 2002

"In the four years since the inspectors left, intelligence reports show that Saddam Hussein has worked to rebuild his chemical and biological weapons stock, his missile delivery capability, and his nuclear program. He has also given aid, comfort, and sanctuary to terrorists, including al Qaeda members ... It is clear, however, that if left unchecked, Saddam Hussein will continue to increase his capacity to wage biological and chemical warfare, and will keep trying to develop nuclear weapons." - Sen. Hillary Clinton (D, NY), October 10, 2002

"If we wait for the [Iraq] danger to become clear, it could be too late." -Sen. Joseph Biden (D-Del) September 4, 2002

"Iraq both poses a continuing threat to the national security of the United States and international peace and security in the Persian Gulf region and remains in material and unacceptable breach of its international obligations by, among other things, continuing to possess and develop a significant chemical and biological weapons capability, actively seeking a nuclear weapons capability, and supporting and harboring terrorist organ

  2. You used the word "think" in your question.

    Wrong try again

    Republicans do not think.

  3. If people vote McCain then yes!

  4. YES to Iraq, Afghanistan, probability that even more AMERICAN lives would have been lost easily by now on our own soil..

The Economic disaster your referring to started way before Bush was elected.  Stupid people fell for to good to be true financing and now their paying the piper, the banks made mistakes.

Yes we did show those as you put it "arabs" who's boss and the boss is

    The United States of America.

  5. Iraq was not the right choice, but we would of went to war no matter what after 9-11, Afghanistan was the right choice and there are a few other good ones, but not Iraq.

The mortgage crisis is the fault of the banks themselves, they lent money to people that could not pay, you do a no doc loan and do not require someone to prove their financial worth or even if they have a job and you still lend them money....that is your fault.

The greed of the American people also caused the mortgage break down, everyone refinanced their house to get money out to spend on cars and vacations and when their house increased in value again they went and borrowed more money against it.  Americans where using their homes like saving accounts...the problem was that everyone thought that their house would continue to rise in value and never go down.  That was wrong and those of us that did not refinance our homes are still fine and we still have equity in our homes and the ones that decided that is was a good idea to refinance the house and buy that new car are the ones that owe to much on their home and they deserve to lose it for being so irresponsible with there money.

If your house increases in value a 100% in 3-5 years and you think that is a real figure to base your future on, then that just makes you stupid...to stupid to own a house.  That number was inflated and ridiculous.  People thought they won the lotto with there homes and now they can't pay there bills....to bad.  People need to read their contracts and take the time to know what it means, are you to stupid to understand a contract???  If that is the case, take an attorney with you.

We need to take responsibility for our own life and stop asking the government to bail us out of a problem we created for ourselves.

  6. It never ceases to amaze me how utterly blind these who support the republican party seem to be....What could it be that's in their heart that makes them so blind to the reality of the Republican party...I don't know, I just  don't know...

  7. I think I'm glad we've had no terrorist attacks on US soil since 9-11 thanks to strong response by our Commander in Chief.

The effects of war is horrible.  Crumbling office towers are worse and cost much more.  Our Volunteers have protected your right to say whatever un-wise thing you want to say ... and not all of what you tout can be attributed to the current administration, and some of it ... isn't even government's responsibility.

Wake up?  How about Wise up.

  8. wake up to what.???? liberal whine?  iraq, and afghanistan...CLINTON IGNORING AL QAEDA FOR EIGHT YEARS...REMEMBER THAT???  mortgage crisis..henry cisneros and clinton authoring sub prime.  911 again...

    uss cole

    clinton no response

    african embassy bombings

    clinton no response

    wtc one

    clinton no response

at least six chances to capture or kill bin laden in sudan

    clinton no response

check your facts before you post...working americans (republicans) simply feel we need a BONAFIDE response, not liberal lip service.

  9. No, we should just ignore it and it will magically disappear! Is that the solution the Democrats are suggesting? Are you their spokes person?
