if you are employed as full time then yes, but it will be stipulated in your contract, they must pay

but most restaurants will employ you part time, so they are not obligated to pay when you take your holiday.

they will only pay the hours that you work.

Like my job they will only pay on some Holidays and they choose they hours they will pay. I think it's up to each business on how they want to do that and my husbands work doesn't pay Holiday's so I assume it's not a law.
