Do restaurants in Seattle pay servers minimum wage, or are they one of the states that pay BELOW minimum wage?

Washington state is one of the few states that don't allow restaurants to pay servers below minimum wage.  Washington's minimum wage is $8.07.

As far as I know all restaurants severs in the US make WAY less than minimum.  $2.63/hour is the usual waiter/waitress wage.   That is what tips are for.  I don't know about Seattle specifically.

WA pays minimum wage an hour regardless of your profession. So a server makes the minimum wage plus whatever tips they make!
