  1. If a restricted player signs another offer seat...the team that has is rights has 7 days to match the offer or he is gone... But to answer your question no... IF a team matches... then the player must stay with the team he is currently with. Thus it is really hard to get big time players that are RFA...teams have the right to match any offer if they want to

  2. if his current team matches the offer, then no he cant leave.

  3. If their team can match the offer that has been offered to them... NO!... He can't leave!.... Nut on your first question... YES!.... They can choose their team IF they offer him a contract sheet... Though it's not a 100% sure that they would be on that team.....

  4. no. thats the essence of being a restricted player. unless your team doesnt match an offer sheet. do away with all the legallese and its basically what a contract means.

  5. .

  6. He can choose who he wants to go, but if the team he is currently on matches the offer the other team offers, then he must stay put and under that new amount.

In the case of Ronny Turiaf, the Lakers didn't match his offer, so the Warrriors will now claim him.
