Do rich ugly men with pretty gold-digger girlfriends KNOW they are being used for their money?

Because the other day I met a rich ugly guy with a really pretty girlfriend, and it was sooo obvious she didn't like him at all.

Every time he spoke, she rolled her eyes, like "Shut up!", and everything she said to him was about money.

eg "When can we go to Europe again? And I want to stay in a better hotel than last time" etc

I sort of wonder, is he so deluded that he can't see that she doesn't like him, let alone love him, or is he so psychologically abnormal that he doesn't care that he's missing out on a basic human need like love?

I know someone is going to say that plenty of rich ugly guys have girlfriends that adore them, but the thing is, I've never met any or heard of them (outside of books, movies). I've only seen situations like this one, so it seems a lot more common.

Yes he knows. But its ok as long as he is using her as a trophy... and for s*x of course...

Its a win-win, lose-lose situation.

Yes, 9 out of 10 times the rich ugly guy knows. To my understanding the only reason they keep them around is for nothing more than "arm candy"!

Think about it, If you were ugly, had plenty of money and needed a date for all the c**p you have to go to and do, would it matter who you took with you?

No! They dont give a d@mn whether she cares about them but she sure does make them look good to other people that they know!

They honestly dont care about her either. In some cases they are dumb enough to, but not usually! The just want to have "one up" on their friends and the prettier the woman the better!

It's all just a game of who can do the best!

You'd be surprised how many of them think it's their great virility and s*x appeal that keeps the pretty young ladies coming.

First of all "love" is not a basic human need, just thought i would get that out of the way.  The reason why is probably a status thing.  They already have all of this money which gives them status and the status feels good, so with a hot girl friend that status goes higher, thats just what i think though.  if i had a bunch of money and i was ugly and old i make her ahem "earn" the money

He knows. She has her eyes on all the expensive possessions he can buy her, yet to him shes nothing but an expensive possession herself.
