  1. best thing to do is check at the end of the street for signs and  restriction conditions,

it might be worth  having a word with the haulage companies and the power station about  signage for a route that keeps them to the main roads

  2. as said if there is a limit it will be at the beginning of the estate. might be worth a phone call to the power station as they may not be aware of it and may not want to upset local residents.

  3. if there is a weight limit it should be posted on the road somewhere the speed is irrelevant

  4. umm not shure but i do not think so it souds kindav stupid

  5. public road unless posted otherwise or with weight restrictions

  6. They should be as stated above posted on the road the same way that it is done here in the U.S..................

  7. it will be posted at the beginning of the road if there is one but think of it this way buy cutting the journey down by 2 miles means they have saved the haulage company about a gallon of fuel if you take in to account under load my 44 ton tipper does around 3/5 mpg whilst accelerating if they went the other way it would cost more money to deliver the coal this means the power company will put up the cost of the power to the consumer its a vicious circle but you can thank Mr Brown
