  1. Make sure your dentist numbs you REAL good. When I had mine done, I wasn't all the way numb and I almost came out of the chair in pain. Once you're good and numb, no pain!

  2. Honestly...I have had 4. Now, I had happy pills for my fear, and didn't remember a whole bunch, but not really any pain. There was about 10 seconds of pain on one part, but that was it. Then when all the numbing wore off, I couldn't bite down on it comfortably for about a week. It really isn't as bad as people tell you. Also, I am having another one tomorrow morning, and not that worried about it.

  3. Yes, there are not fun.

The Dentist will numb your gums/tooth, but after that wears off, it will hurt. But just like anything else, it will go away and you'll forget out it.

  4. Hi Chanel,

Root Canal Treatment is designed to get you out of pain by taking the infected tissue out of the tooth. Sounds too involved, but actually it is not. You can read the following article which explains step-by-step what to expect during a RCT procedure. Hope this helps. Good luck !
