I'm specifically wondering if roses contain any vitamin C? Not rose hips, but the flower rosa centifolia?

Thank you for any info.

  1. idk lol eat and see

  2. I'm fairly certain they do.  They sure taste like it.

  3. Therapeutic value has been reported for hips of R. centifolia and the petals are traditional in flavoring tea. Traditionally the petals are also used in tisanes for eye washes or skin toners. Unfortunately the nutritional content of edible flowers has not been done.
