  1. well some do...i do, there is a new thing out called a flex cup but before that i never did...but too many scrums and cheap shots later i finally got one...and to that girl who said they don't wear pads...well there is a under shirt some wear that has pads

  2. No cup or straps. However you can wear very light padding on your shoulders as part of an upper body shirt thing that you wear under your jersey.

Not many players do this though. It's usually just throw the jersey on with out and protecting or softening gear. (Which is the way it should be IMO)

We do wear mouth gurads and some wear head gear however (Very light padding for the head and to pin your ears in)

  3. i'm a rugby player. you are allowed to wear what you want except metal. before each game the referee check your boots to make sure they have no metal in them

  4. Think you should go with jock straps. Much easier.

  5. no compression shorts are usualy a good choice underneath your rugby shorts provides decent support

  6. I never wore a cup when i played rugby. I did wear a mouthguard though.

  7. nope- some choose to wear compression shorts/ spandex bike shorts for support and to reduce chaffing.

  8. No,I should know i play rugby,in Wales.Where men are men and sheep are scared!=no cup...

  9. well, they're stupid enough not to wear pads, so i doubt it.

my brother is a rugby player, and has been injured so many times.  he's an idiot.
