im trying to get faster and i was thinking about buying a running chute but do they actually make you faster?

  2. They really help you build endurance, especially for those windy track meets, and when your a distance runner.

    They build a lot of muscles in your body, and muscles make you stronger, and strength makes you faster, so I would say, yeah, they make you faster!

    So does running hills and wind sprints

    What these things do is create resistance, so that it's harder for you to run. Once you build up and doing these is easy, running flatly on a track feels a helluva lot easier! :]

    You can use the chute during your plyometric exercises.

    Lifting weights, doing plyometrics, running stadium bleachers or stairs will help your speed, along with improving your running form.
