can i get rid of that undesired portion of fat only by running? Since I ve heard there is not such thing as targeted fat reduction I wonder whether crunches can work too?

I am running 2miles a day, some times 3 and five times a day.

  1. yes! you should run and then after do the crunches! that would be the best way to get rid of them!

  2. Dude I'm where you're at right now. I started cross country this year and I also have love handles. When the team and I get done running we come back and do crunches. Get in position and do 30 crunches, then do 30 with legs bent in the air, then do 30 more with legs sticking straight up in the air. Then we do things called planks (find them here http://exercise.about.com/od/abs/ss/abex... Then 20 push ups. Pull-ups really help on the back muscles too I heard.

  3. yes

  4. Yes they do, running burns calories, burning calories burns fat, your love handles = fat.

  5. Not really.

    Dieting would help much more

  6. Sit ups/crunches work wonders! Core work [abs, back, obliques/love handles] compliment running. Try doing cross legged sit ups. Put your left foot on the right knee while in the push up position...try to bring your right elbow to your left knee. Do this as much as you can, and then switch legs!

  7. Running can help with your love handles but crunches would work better.

  8. yea it can help, because cardio exercises help lose body fat and if you lose body fat you well have a better figure
