Mayana,the  name  from verb  : Yamoun..If one guy did many good things to you then he  Yamouns to you  ..At the time of hardship you must  help back so Mayana is this whole act..  

Of course Saudi have humor . People in gathering can not stand each other without  some jokes here and there ,and you tend to hear loud laughters in Majalis ...they  also have lovely comedians ..You should watch Tash Ma Tash  series in TV ,,It is full of humor..

when you ask thata its like your saying i have never met a saudi with a sense of humer. they have no humor.

....

but to answer you question yes they do have sense of humor sometimes what may not be funny to people on other culters is funny to  saudi... like an inside joke.and im sure it isnt just for saudi for other places too.
